Yes, exactly the quote says, why should we do something that we don't have to do. Some people have large amounts energy reserves, while others like me don't have that hyped up amount of energy. Then again if the action is not necessary, why would people do it. For example socializing I feel that if there is no need to communicate there should be no reason why if two people are together should one person try to make a conversation. Looking gossip it's something that is absolutely stupid and completely useless to converse about. Why the hell is it so necessary to talk about what you think about another person, the latest technology, or even the latest fashion. Conversations like these are only there for people to be like other people. Why can't we all be different, why must humans socialize so much about such stupid topics.
